I was also a vicarious attendee at #opened09 & #steconf (although that one was more difficult to participate in). I think I made up the term "vicarious attendee" on my blog yesterday. <br /><br />Just wanted to suggest someone you might want to check out--Alec Couros who lives in Regina (about 3 hours away from me). CogDog (Alan Levine) mentioned him during his Stories of Openness presentation. Apparently Alec's doctoral dissertation was about Creative Commons. He was the one who created the Networked Teacher visual. Maybe you already know all about him. But, just in case, check him out.<br /><br />I think on Sept 8 there is an on-line session with Dave Cormier and George Siemens.
